Nathan’s number one goal is to add value to each organization, team, deal, or transaction he is involved with. His clients' needs and objectives are the driving motivations behind all legal advice he provides. A fierce competitor, Nathan simply desires to win – however “winning” is defined by the client.
As a JD/MBA, Nathan understands that legal advice is just a fraction of a whole in a complex business organization. He counsels his clients on business plans and strategies, while simultaneously navigating the laws and regulations required to properly implement those strategies. Nathan is part of RSHC’s business transactions group, with a focus on mergers and acquisitions, private equity, drafting and negotiating commercial contracts, corporate governance and restructuring, and nonprofit organizations. He frequently works with entrepreneurs and startups, helping them identify and develop their strategic competitive advantages within their industry. Nathan also has experience in heavily regulated and emerging markets, such as medical cannabis, Minority and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (MBE/DBE), and lobbying.
Outside of work, Nathan enjoys spending time with his wife and three children. He is committed to serving underprivileged individuals and actively participates in his church and community. While his sporting activities have been limited to non‐contact sports, such as golf, Nathan still fuels his adrenaline rush when cheering on his beloved Bears, Bulls, and Cubs.
